Vancouver, British Columbia Canada - BC-based Canadian Author Sheila Atienza, is reaching out to the youth, especially the teen girls on how they are expressing themselves. “WTF” is often used as an expression of negative remark but through her aptly titled book: “Words, Thoughts, Feelings: Success Maxims for Teen Girls”, Sheila tackles the many scenarios any teen girl can relate to using “WTF” in the positive light, referring to the total well-being of a person.

“Certain things happen in every person’s life. But there are many effective ways a girl can do to communicate. They just have to be aware of what is going on in their environment and understand the nature of the situation so they will know how to respond appropriately. We have to be conscious of how we project when we are with other people. What we say, how we say it and to whom we say it really matter”, said Sheila.

“I am also calling out to parents, teachers and other groups to give utmost attention to teens especially now that the world has evolved so much. The rise of internet technologies, including various web applications and social networking sites play a significant role in shaping the minds of our youth today. Just observe how they communicate or send messages today and you’ll know how much the trend has changed.” added Sheila.
