The Need for Newcomers and First-time Buyers to Prepare
I feel so happy with the warm response I got on my book title: "How to Prepare to Own a Home in Canada: recession-proof lifestyle for immigrants and first-time buyers."
Indeed, quite a number of people have realized the need for such guide book.
I was inspired to even just have the thought of writing it. And now it's out there. Canadian libraries from British Columbia to Ontario province have requested and stocked copies of this book. Bookstores such as Chapters.indigo.ca and Amazon.ca also facilitate the book's availability.
I knew I have this calling to share my thoughts and experience on this industry or even other general aspects of life.
It is my hope that newcomers to Canada or anyone thinking of getting into the process of home buying to really look at their personal financial position seriously.
Sometimes, no matter how basic it is to handle money, we sometimes forget the necessity to understand the impact of our behaviour when disposing of money.
In fact, attention to personal savings could always come in the last position on our list of priorities.
The truth is, the moment you begin to realize the need to own your shelter, that is when you probably
come to a point of a wake up call asking yourself: "Am I prepared to go through this? Do I have some
funds to use for down payment and closing? What is credit? Why didn't I prepare for this?" and you could probably think of more questions...
